I just recently saw the movie, "Ladder 49" starring John Travolta and Some Guy Who's First Name I Can't Spell But Who's Last Name Is Phoenix.
I would like everyone to know that I had a lump in my throat, and that that sits just below LOTR on the list of my favorite films of all time. For once, the movies didn't glorify taking life, but saving it, and all the characters had vivid personalities brought to life by the actors who portrayed them. John Travolta's performance blew me away.
The movie revolves around the life of Jack Morrison (Phoenix) as a firefighter, and consists mainly of flashbacks he experiences while fighting a fire. Great fi
